It Begins In Pristine Waters

We harvest our salt from carefully selected coastal regions in France, Guatemala, Hawaii, Spain, Portugal, and beyond. Local artisans use simple tools and centuries-old methods to coax the salt into being. It takes up to 7 years to prepare the delicate ecosystem that yields our salts.

Powered by Over 70 Trace Minerals and Elements

Unlike processed table salts, Celtic Sea Salt® retains its full spectrum of naturally occurring minerals — including magnesium, potassium, and zinc — that support hydration, nerve function, and electrolyte balance.

70+ Trace Minerals and Elements

Full spectrum sea salts also contain many trace minerals and elements like iron, zinc, iodine, selenium, manganese, copper, and boron. These trace elements support antioxidant defense, hormone function, cellular metabolism, and enzyme activation. The presence of these minerals in full spectrum sea salts contributes to electrolyte balance, improved stamina, skin health, and overall metabolic support, and reflects the mineral richness of the source region.

{Mg} 12

Magnesium

Magnesium is crucial for energy production, bone health, muscle contraction, sleep, mood regulation, heart function, and blood glucose control. It acts as a cofactor for over 300 enzyme systems, supporting nerve function, cardiovascular health, metabolic balance, and stress resilience. Magnesium is commonly present in full spectrum sea salts as magnesium chloride and trace amounts of magnesium sulfate.

{K} 19

Potassium

Potassium is an electrolyte essential for maintaining fluid balance, muscle contraction (including heart muscle), nerve signals, and blood pressure regulation. It helps offset the effects of sodium, supporting heart health and lowering stroke risk, and may help prevent osteoporosis and kidney stones. Potassium is mostly found in sea salt as potassium chloride and potassium sulfate.

{Ca} 20

Calcium

Calcium is vital for strong bones and teeth, proper muscle activity, blood clotting, nerve transmission, cardiac function, and cholesterol balance. Most of the body's calcium is in bones, but it's also essential for cellular signaling and heart rhythm. In sea salts, calcium is typically present as calcium chloride and calcium sulfate.

{Na} 11

Sodium

Sodium is required for regulating fluid balance, blood pressure, nerve impulses, muscle contraction, and cellular homeostasis. Sea salt provides sodium mainly as sodium chloride, its principal compound. While necessary for life, excessive sodium can negatively impact health, so moderation is important, which is one reason to eat full spectrum sea salts which contain lower sodium than refined salts.

{Cl} 17

Chloride

Chloride is a key electrolyte working with sodium and potassium to maintain fluid and acid-base balance, blood pH, and aid digestion through hydrochloric acid production. It's essential for nerve function and cellular processes. Chloride in sea salt typically occurs as sodium chloride and magnesium chloride.
